The members of the consortium were: the municipality of Aldenhoven, the town of Bad Münstereifel, the town of Baesweiler, the district town of Bergheim, the municipality of Blankenheim, the municipality of Dahlem, the town of Elsdorf, the town of Erftstadt, the town of Herzogenrath, the town of Hürth, the town of Jülich, the municipality of Kall, the city of Cologne, the town of Mechernich, the municipality of Nettersheim, the municipality of Niederzier, the town of Übach-Palenberg, the town of Zülpich and the Rhineland Regional Council (LVR) as consortium leader.
Susanne Jenter M.A., LVR Office for the Preservation of Archaeological Monuments in the Rhineland, was responsible for the scientific editing.
Since 2014, the project has been continued by the association "Erlebnisraum Römerstraße e.V." (Cologne Local Court Register of Associations (VR) 18719).
